#95 Only 5 movies to go on my 100 movies I missed list!
I was expecting this movie to be much more light hearted. I was not ready for that ending. I did like the balance between the amount of songs and dialogue. It was the perfect combination for me. When the music did play it was so good. Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone have amazing chemistry on screen. Two great actors and they were perfect for the roles. Especially Emma Stone. She is quickly moving up my list of my favorite actresses.
I wanted to LOVE this movie but I ended up just really liking it. I don’t know if it’s very rewatchable for my taste but as a first time watch I was not disappointed. Great direction by Chazelle, great music, acting, and story telling.
