Before I get started; YES. This is a Christmas movie.
I’ve know about this movie for a long time through pop culture (even before I ever knew about the movie itself) never had any real desire to watch it though, despite its popularity.
I betcha if I had watched this much sooner like in my high school or college days, I’d probably like it more. But watching it now, after seeing so many action media that I think is more entertaining, I just don’t find it to be all that. At the time it came out, I’m sure it revolutionized the Christmas movie industry.
Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman were pretty cool in this.
