I forgot how emotionally draining this film is. I think I first saw this when I was around 11 or 12, and was from then on afraid to leave my room to take a piss at night...
As far as I’m concerned, this film should have won best original screenplay, as its very intelligent horror elements blend perfectly with the beautiful, heartfelt story below it.
