the thing with these movies is i am unable to get interested into the story for whatever reason, so for dune (2021), almost my entire enjoyment of the film relied on the amazing visuals. but here, well i already knew these visuals so there was not much new to see… which is why i personally prefer the first one. but i do understand why this movie is loved by so many people.
also this might be weird but i honestly think the story from the book would do a better adaptation for a video game than it does for a movie
