i find it so telling that in the q&a after, without being prompted by a question of any kind first, tom hanks went on a very long speech defending the use of AI in this film…and i think that’s all i’ll say on that. this would have made a better play.
although extra half star bc when ellie came with me to see it’s what’s inside they gave us free stickers, and when tristen joined for this tom hanks showed up. having a great track record so far with my class guests.
