Fuck this movie.
How dare you make something so good, so risky in following up a beloved trilogy by declaring there’s more story to tell! Then they look at the trilogy’s existence as only one part of life, while something essential, is still only one part of life’s journey and there is more to experience! They have the gall to create the most millennial character ever with Forky, someone at home in the garbage, all to shout about how we are all worthy of love and appreciation! Fuck the idea that we’re constantly rediscovering ourselves while searching for a belonging, our connections with people guiding us through a tumultuous existence! Heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time? Go fuck yourselves.
Absolutely furious that this was great. At least I can recommend movies in theaters again.
