not that an inspired color grade or like, lighting, would do much to assist this but why does it look like this? why shoot anamorphic if you're just going to shoot wide open mediums and closeups? what is wrong with people? you're making a special effects spectacle extravaganza! make the effects *feel* special within the framing, damn it! talented people work on these things!
why are there so many characters? are you so worried about pissing off the ghostbusters fandom that rioted whenever women appear instead of the original cast or whatever.
i fully cop to not watching the first of this reboot sequel series and not being a huge ghostbusters guy in general. i caught this with some family that wanted to watch it. it wasn't that hard to keep up with the few things that were happening anyways. sue me.
not some vile, putrid experience but nonetheless a carcass lacking intention and any semblance of entertainment or artistic merit.
