Castle in the Sky 1986

When I started to read about Miyazaki in preparation for diving into his films, I thought a lot of them would be high-concept action-adventure type films. Until today, the closest I got to that was Howl's Moving Castle.

It turns out the first movie of Miyazaki's I bought was the one I was searching for the whole time.

Castle in the Sky is flat-out incredible storytelling and one of my new favorite movies of all time.

I plan on revisiting this very, very soon.
