Love, Christmas, Family, Appreciation, Happiness, Optimism, and Possibility.
There’s something really special about the story being so optimistic even when our characters are down low. The way they’re able to flesh out every character even if they don’t have too much screen time and makes you love them is also something to cherish. Especially James Stewart’s “George Bailey”, you really become attached to George Bailey throughout the film, you feel for him and what he goes through and what he accomplishes.
It’s honestly timeless as this feels super modern and grounded in culture. Such an amazing film.
Now go call your family and friends and tell them you love them.
I watched the original B&W version of this film, and will definitely be watching again for the colored version.
