I will never understand adding creepy music and sound effects to a found footage movie.
I enjoyed this quite a bit and it was a lot different from what I anticipated/vaguely remembered. I was expecting a bunch more jump scares and that sort of thing but it's actually a creepy slow burn mystery that constantly keeps you guessing on whether or not there's actually anything supernatural going on. It helps that the acting is better than what you usually see in found footage. Patrick Fabian is great as the complicated but charming & affable lead and Ashley Bell gives maybe the best performance of a possessed person that I've seen.
