I am super duper late for this film, but hey, it's better late than never, eh?
La La Land is truly a meticulously crafted film. I never thought it would hit me emotionally though. Well, here I am, holding back tears.
It seriously became an instant favorite of mine. I was actually skeptical initially, given all the immense praise for this film, but jeez, it blew me away and it was definitely worth all the acclaim. The cinematography, the choreography, the set design, and of course, the music, were all elegant and excellent. But there is a lot more to this film. It's freaking magical.
Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone were exceptional. Overall, It's simply a masterpiece by Damien Chazelle. I was so moved.
