i'm sorry, it's boring.

'pretty' colours so garish they start making your eyeballs hurt 70 minutes into a 120 minute journey. centre-framing so perfect you can get several YouTube essays out of this unusual editing practice. but then you remember that most films don't do that for a reason.

you then also remember that most films tell you the character's names. maybe they do that for a reason, too.
