While expressly a parody of remakes, this is actually much closer to a parody of reboots. All said, it’s a pretty gnarly slasher (the “fuck Bruce Willis” death is particularly disturbing), and it’s great to see the original roster experiencing full, multi-film arcs. Would’ve been a baller move to kill off one of the main characters, but alas we may have to wait for 5CREAM for that. 

At one point in my life I considered SCRE4M to be “the good sequel that we needed after SCR3AM sucked,” but having rewatched them all I’d say that 2CREAM is the weakest entry. 

Great series overall. The main takeaway is that we as a culture did David Arquette dirty. He’s a tremendous actor.
