i’ve been on letterboxd for quite a while now, and although i’m a bit of an open book i want to sort of share about myself :) my name is danni, i’m going to be a junior next year (💔), and i just love movies! all my life films have been there as a way to express myself and to keep myself entertained. as soon as i found out a community existed where people just made silly and sometimes well thought out reviews of movies, i obviously was thrilled and had to download this app. i typically make little one liners as my reviews because i’m not very good at expressing my emotions through an app lol.
my whole life i’ve also been a part of acting! when i was 3 i was a squirrel in willy wonka and i just fell in love with theater. as i’ve gotten older i’ve realized that acting (preferably movie acting) is something i really want to pursue in life and i want to get better at it as well. if anyone has any random tips that would be great!
i have struggled with some severe mental health these past few years and i am slowly starting to overcome it. watching a good movie really helps me ease out of reality and find comfort when things are hard, which is probably accurate for a lot of people!

movies that some people find confusing but i get the symbolism and stuff on the first watch

movies about dying relationships (not sure why)
