MaXXXine might just be my favorite of the trilogy—it oozes ‘80s style from the outfits and hair all the way to the cocaine abuse and killer soundtrack. I was especially blown away by all the amazing practical gore; there was a certain moment near the beginning involving a naked man and a set of high heels that made every single person in the theater audibly gasp/groan, some even momentarily jumped out of their seats from shock—no joke.
