I mean, go on and cast Natasha Lyonne as a space receptionist with less than a minute of screen time... all I'll be doing for the entire rest of the film wishing the it was about her instead.
But seriously, Ad Astra is superbly crafted, but while it very clearly wants to be Very Serious and Very Moving, I was never anything more than mildly interested. Pitt does what he can, but this never truly takes off.
