SOOOOOO much more complex and layered than I was expecting! While I knew of the story shift halfway through, what shocked the hell out of me was the stylistic shift in the film and how perfectly it aligned with that story shift. Ends up asking some very thorny questions and letting the audience sit and stew as they wrestle with the answers. Fantastic, compelling stuff.
