obviously did not have high expectations, you watch this just to have fun! and have fun we did. the action scenes were pretty silly and the overall vibe and cinematography matched that. I think if there was one thing to complain about, it would be that the story was a little messy and disjointed, which is disappointing because it’s such a fun and simple idea. It would’ve been great if they could’ve slipped in WHY this lottery was incorporated throughout this nearly 2 hour movie. and there also seemed to be an underlying message like “this is so America”, but it totally was unclear and kind of switched between how awful systems like this are and how awesome it is to have a lot of money for this. I think it would’ve been more satisfying to keep one or the other. 

anyways, this movies was fun and usually somewhat funny!! 3 stars 👍👍
