I’ve always loved Matthew Vaughn’s films, especially Kingsman. So when this released and got absolutely destroyed I was quite surprised. Making me decide to not go and see it in theaters, and when it released on streaming I didn’t want to re-up my Apple TV because I literally never use it… but finally I decided to say fuck it and finally watch it… Argylle definitely feels like any other spy film Matthew Vaughn has made but also kinda doesn’t. Thought some of the acting was pretty poor, CGI was god awful, plus to me the film just drags on a little bit. No chance this should’ve been over 2 hours. However with that said, I did have a pretty good time watching it ngl lmao. Action sequences were decent, comedy was mid but works in some parts. If you got 2+ hours to kill I’d recommend watching it. 💯
