This is kinda frustrating. The pacing isn't great and there's some dumb shit sprinkled throughout, but there's almost as much really cool stuff.
This isn't even a cynical movie. It feels like a concept that only a big fan of Dracula would even think about making. It goes to places that I never thought it would go and I mean that in the best and worst ways.
I haven't been this torn about a movie in a while, but I certainly don't regret seeing it. If you dig Dracula, you'll almost certainly get something out of it, just try and keep your expectations low.
