Kevin Smith directs his next film in Chasing Amy. This film throws out some of the shock humor of Clerks and Mall-rats, and trades it in for substance and a great look at how women and guys evaluate each other in relationships. The film nails how guys and girls evaluate past history, and the difference perceptions in importance of sex in relationships. This film was not as funny as some of his previous films, but had great characters and some great dialogue.
