Ok this movie has a lot of flaws, one being that it is THREE HOURS LONG, but overall I enjoyed it, all in part to 3 amazing scenes - one at the beginning, middle, and end.
1. The first heist scene - the hockey masks? the perfectly timed coordination? here for it
2. The shootout scene - HOLY SHIT. i literally knew nothing about this movie going in and was not prepared for the experience that was this scene. Heat is the only movie I've watched where gunfire sounds are actually accurate (AKA loud AF). Free Fire who? This shootout was so unabashedly loud and violent and intense and bad-ass. It's going on my list of favorite movie scenes ASAP. Also, the guy next to me laughed at my reaction cuz I was literally staring at the screen mouth agape. So glad I got to see this in theaters.
3. The ending chase scene - drew me in completely. I love it.
All this being said, Heat has some critical flaws that you can read about in other peoples' reviews because I have homework to do.
