I'm a slut for emma stone/ryan gosling onscreen pairings. I would also die for damien chazelle.
I'm gonna shamelessly give this film 5 stars because
1) the soundtrack is so fun (see: planetarium and another day of sun) but also haunting (see: audition and epilogue)
2) I relate to mia's character on a spiritual level
3) I'm 100% convinced there's some color symbolism going on in mia and seb's wardrobe choices
4) the cinematography and editing made me pause the film and take a couple deep breaths because it was so brilliant
5) I liked the story. fight me
I will never need to audition for anything but if I do I WILL sing audition (the fools who dream)
