this was the worst case of the miscommunication trope i’ve ever seen. also the worst/best case of yearning i’ve seen. i loved it. sometimes it takes 2 affairs, 2 children born, 2 marriages. 2 divorces, and a fuckton of flights to confess to ur childhood best friend. the domino effect of that one dance was wild. i don’t think i have let any school dance affect me in any significant way.
