An absolute blast from start to finish, rewatching "Gremlins" brought back so many old memories and nostalgia. Joe Dante absolutely nails every genre this film goes for. It's just as hilarious as it is creepy and scary, but it also has moments that really warm your heart particularly the early moments in the film with Billy and Gizmo. The practical effects are damn great even after thirty years, and the score is so iconic and cool. This is a great Christmas movie, and a great monster movie. I absolutely love "Gremlins". It's so much nicer seeing these guys on my TV screen rather than on the Letterboxd pages.
