Why I watched this one? Read some really great reviews on this one.
What is this one about? Two struggling detectives (Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe) decide to work together and solve a murder case.
My thoughts on this one? I liked many parts of this movie. Crowe and Gosling are really fun to watch and they have a great screen chemistry. Movie is filled with many memorable scenes. The final third however is somewhat of a disappointment as many plot twists do not make sense and seem unnecessary.
Maybe on a repeat viewing it will be better. Eagle eye viewers might be able to spot Robert Downey, Jr. Final thought: I liked the movie but did not love this movie.....not in the same class as the director's Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
