living in a world where you’re scared of the only thing you have left, living in a world where you’re scared of being without it. filmmaking so assured and confident that you’re convinced this was the work of an old master. not as lyrical and free flowing as the man would later become but still a product that we could only get from him. so begins the Malick-a-thon
