When this movie first came out, I enjoyed it, but was let down by Into The Spider-Verse having basically all of your standard kids’ movie tropes in the plot. But after rewatch after rewatch after rewatch, the style and charm of everything else absolutely overrides any clichés I felt the story had. The movie is a visual feast, and always rewards a wandering eye on the screen. This is an Amazing, Spectacular, Ultimate, Web of, Spider-Man movie. Also Spider-Ham is in it. Win.
