where to begin…
paul mescal you sexy talented FUCK! i aspire to be him.
first of all THE CINEMATOGRAPHY!!!! i was sitting on the edge of my seat simply in awe of the film happening before my eyes. seeing the beauty of it unfold truly made my passion for film ignite in that moment and cement my dream of going into the film industry. i dream of creating or starring in something of that high quality. the passion behind this film is so profound on the screen and it makes you feel wonderful. paul mescal, pedro pascal and denzel washington play their characters so strongly you feel as if you are in the scene and the moment in time. watching this film truly sparked something in me i know i can never turn away from as i believe it is what i am meant to do. film is so so SO important to me every waking hour as it has become something to special to me. only few can understand that true sense of happiness when watching a film and that is exactly what this did for me. it’s a perfect mix of action, emotion and tension laced throughout. it perfectly weaves into the original storyline of gladiator and i honestly think it was better than the original. of course the original was groundbreaking at the time for its modernity but this one ties it all together. a truly truly special film that i must see again. an ode to true film lovers. this deserves ALL the oscars.
