The things you may think are the major flaws in this film are exactly the things they point out as flaws in the script written by Martin (Colin Farrell) early in the third act.
Seven Psychopaths is an oddball crime comedy that satirizes the current climate of filmmaking with a slick, clever script full of meta humor.
Martin McDonagh certainly leaves his stamp here, thanks to performances by Farrell and Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken, who stole the show.
The aformentioned third act suffers a bumpy landing and doesn't exactly deliver on the early buildup.
