anailson ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏’s review published on Letterboxd:
it's interesting how almost every member of the same family committed suicide as if it wasn't suicide, what do I mean by that? well, here we have different ways to reach the end of life and each of the sisters thought in a way about it and this is even clearer in the way in which each of them committed suicide, lux for example, she had dreams and desires, but after the death of the sister, she can see this end of life and tries to take advantage of the moments to do things she did not do, this is obviously between the lines, but it is possible to see it at the dance, the girls never had a normal adolescence, with protective parents in exception, they were able to any opportunity outside the home to make the most of it and they did it that night, all the characters have dreams and wills, but that because of the lack of dialogue in the relationship of the parents, or anyone who understood their pain, they understood each other and so they all decided to end the pain in the same way, sofia coppola has a brilliant direction here, the moments of reading the diaries is when we enter the psyche of each of the characters, is excellent and devastating.
