"Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" is a better sequel than the original, mainly because it doesn’t rely on the forced humor that wasn’t funny in the first part, and the story feels more subtle. But even so, it’s still weak, and I still don’t see the point of these two films. Monica Bellucci has to be one of the most pointless characters ever—her entire existence is reduced to one purpose: giving Beetlejuice a reason to marry Winona. But am I twisted for thinking that Monica looked kind of hot while she was piecing herself back together? 😄 In the first film, I liked Winona the most, but in this sequel, she’s already an older woman—though this time, we have Jenna Ortega. ❤️ I don’t know, the first one was bad, and I didn’t find any meaning in the second either, but I’ll probably still watch the third, which seems very likely to happen.
