On rewatch, I still have the same problems. Chadwick Boseman is kind of dull as the lead, the whole thing is way too long, and the fight scenes are way too CG in that typical MCU way (might as well be watching a cartoon). But damned if it isn’t a ton of fun, with a hell of a supporting cast that make up for the lack of charisma at the center. And damned if some of those images don’t have some real power. Top 3 MCU for me, along with Ragnarok and Homecoming.
