i have so many thoughts and feelings and i don’t think it’s possible for me to articulate everything but i will do my best!!!!
i have always been a massive musical girly, and especially always loved the songs from Wicked but unfortunately never got to see it.
the world of Oz has also always had a very big place in my heart, i grew up obsessed with the Wizard of Oz book + movie, dressing as Dorothy on multiple occasions and even had the privilege of playing Dorothy in my primary school’s musical adaption of it <3
so safe to say i have been eagerly awaiting this movie and i absolutely adored it !!!!
i knew very little about the story going into it and so the story itself was incredible to experience for the first time!!! all the actors were amazing, i definitely think the casting for everyone was absolutely perfect and the singing was incredible!!!! also i loved all of Glinda’s costumes so much !!!!!! i will definitely be rewatching many times so will hopefully be able to give a more cohesive review in the future <33
ALSO my mum adored it and started clapping at the end and was annoyed no one else clapped lol
