I must admit, when I saw the 4.5 average rating this film gets here on Letterboxd, my first reaction was: "Yeah, whatever! It would not be the first time that such a high rated movie turned out to be a disappointment."
But when action sequences possess the power to move you to tears (much helped, I must add, by a perfect soundtrack), then you realise you are watching a truly great action movie. A very funny one, too, by the way.
