I don't usually try to blurb, but if I did, my Coco comment here would be something along the lines of: Come for the surprisingly expressive 3D, gorgeous animation and gently twisted comedy, and stay for the thoughtful ruminations on family, generational trauma, hope and regret, the dark side of the showbiz industry, and the theological implications of mass media.
Mild spoiler: I am at the point where I don't usually have a lot of patience for the live mic/hidden tape recorder as a plot device, but it works LIKE A CHARM here.
