i wonder what perkins’ favorite ligotti story is
pretty good! don’t quite understand the comparisons to The Silence of the Lambs or fincher’s detective stories; it’s more of a piece with kurosawa’s horror stuff or perkins’ other films. i appreciate how weird and oppressively bleak it’s willing to be.
i’m just very happy osgood perkins is making films, and more specifically that he is making films like this. his atmospheres always feel like a warm blanket.
