See now *this* is a comic-book movie. Vibrantly colorful, a breezy sense of humor (with the ability to be credibly earnest when needed), visual storytelling, dynamic villains. Using the medium to expand what the comic book can be.
Not dour three hour long parades of movie stars in crappy, muted looking outfits marching in front of green screens and pimping the "next one" while they snark at bad guys.
Would be an interesting double bill with The Last Jedi. Of a piece with decentralizing the hero story to a community of every-people. Anyone can be a hero, everyone can be a hero.
Really, really good.
