The one genre I'm not at all forgiving of is the action genre. I can't abide Looney Tunes type of filmmaking. Walt Disney coined it back in 1956. "The Plausible Impossible," and it should only apply to animation. Nothing takes me out of a movie faster than the plausible impossible. The end scene abuses that concept to ridiculous lengths but I have only myself to blame for sticking around that long. Jason Momoa is pretty good as a lumber Jack, trying to save his family from a bunch of inept drug traffickers. I can't help thinking, though, that Jason Statham would have been better cast in this part. The fighting sure would've been better. Decent storyline, horrible script. Even worse direction.
