Taron Egerton looks like Robert Patrick, Danielle Deadwyler rocks, and, since the nerve gas in The Rock has lived rent free in my brain for almost 30 years, it was a nice 90s throwback all around for me. Plus the Christmas setting works beyond a thriller gimmick as it's essentially folks trying to reunite with their loved ones.
[ps I never realized how many thrillers use a pregnant wife as a bargaining chip for a man whose life hasn't turned out like he wanted but realizes that his due child is more important than any job he could have until I had a pregnant wife but my life turned out better than I imagined but knows that the most important part of his life is coming in a few months]
