Was strangely in the mood to watch a musical so I went with one I see in many top 4s here on Letterboxd. Now that I’ve seen it I can say I understand why it’s this highly thought of!
Visually this movie is hard to beat and probably my favorite aspect of it. I quite enjoyed the score and while I was hoping for a different outcome at the end I did appreciate the story as well. Just a very good movie overall! If I feel as strong about it after a rewatch sometime down the road it’ll likely go into my top 100 list.
