Giving this the same rating as the first until I rewatch the original.
First of all Parker Finn is a great director. The shot composition and camerawork in these movies is so much better than the material. But the material is fun if you’re watching it for stupid fun. Which it is.
Bigger scale works. Not as many jumpscares which is great. This all does not work without Naomi Scott believably playing a broken Lady Gaga.
As expected it kinda falls apart in it’s denoument but so did the first one and I still think it’s great.
