I love the direction they went with this so much. the transition from the first movie to this one; high school to rehab clinic, autumn to winter, puberty to trauma, addiction, abuse, and mental illness really make this sequel a fantastic follow-up. it does feel pretty empty without Ginger at times, but Brigitte is fantastic leading the movie on her own, co-led by mysterious and creepy girl she meets at the rehab clinic named Ghost. i just really wish they would have added just a teeny bit more to this movie like what happened to her parents after the first movie and was Jason the werewolf that was trying to mate with Brigitte? would have loved to see what happened right after the first one. the movie also does have a depressing ending, one that i was definitely not expecting, but it is an interesting choice they made, and not a bad one. wish we could have gotten a sequel to this one with ghost and a now transformed brigitte.
