semi-tangential but when she was doing press for this film, winona ryder went into the criterion closet to choose some movies and it's so clear from that interview she's a genuine cinephile and has a lot of respect for filmmaking so it's very depressing that only film she can seem to get a lead role in this year is tim burton's nostlagia bait legacy sequel
