The philosophy of this movie is taken from The Book of Revelation
The main philosophy of this book is accepting the real truth and accepting death is one way to meet God.
And this movie is based on Ingmar Bergman's play Painting on the Wood. This is the artistic and dramatic form of the soul meeting God.
