More smart subversion from the meta minds of Phil Lord & Co., "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" thrives on inventive, addictive animation, an abundance of witty characters, and full-throttle pacing — a propulsion that almost makes up for the few draggy bits in a jam-packed feature. Still, with Kathryn Hahn delighting in her perfectly cast villainous opportunity and Shameik Moore making the most of his dream gig, it's hard to fault a multiverse movie for running a tad long. More Spider-Noir, please.
