I went into this movie completely blind. Knew nothing about it, didn't know it had zombies, didnt know it was a remake, just randomly saw it on netflix and started watching it with a friend. I even tried to do some work on my laptop while I watched but as the movie progressed I had to shut my laptop, lock all my doors, turn all my lights on, and wrap myself in a blanket to even keep watching it.
Once everything started happening it was just relentless and wouldn't let up and I was so stressed and so tense and genuinely scared the whole time. I was holding my breath during the end scene and trying to keep as still as possible, it was killing me.
This is the scariest movie I have ever seen and now my favorite zombie flick.
