No matter how many times I watch this, the ending will always make me break down and cry. Poor Things made me very eager to watch another Emma Stone movie and the sheer difference between her performances in that and this film is simply astounding. It just goes to show how much range she has as a performer. Also, this movie went by VERY quickly and it’s probably because I enjoyed every second of it!!!! The music, the acting, the cinematography, RYAN GOSLING, it’s all so wonderfully spectacular. I will forever be grateful for Damien Chazelle for making this absolutely beautiful and devastating film. I’m gonna have to watch The Umbrellas of Cherbourg sometime soon since this definitely got me in the mood for it!!!!
