I remember seeing the trailer a while back and not being impressed. Once I started seeing the hype for it though I became intrigued. Went with my sister and nephews and it was 3D which I’m not the biggest fan of. But this movie won me over pretty much from the beginning. The storm it starts with almost represents the force that is this movie. A plot that may be formulaic but has so much emotion in it that I had many moments of tears in my eyes. Just how it tackles the themes of parenting and family is unique and thoughtful. The characters are all likable with such charm and personality. Excellent animation especially on Roz. The score was worked into the movie cohesively, even by itself it works as I listened to it on the way home. The villain near the end wasn’t much but what it did for the story development was a great way to leave things. I’ll need to see this again with my daughter.
