He worships the devil, that's for sure. But in the United States of America, he's allowed to do that.

Special thanks to Maika Monroe for capturing the sheer dread one feels when faced with unexpected visitors and contrived interactions with people you do not nor ever want to know. Terrific performance from our beloved horror blondie, who has made a permanent nest in the crush-sized hole within my chest.

Much like The Blackcoat's Daughter (2015), it doesn't quite know how to end and suffers from chronic expositionitis... but the cinematography is lovely and many moments stand out thanks to creative editing choices.

All in all, Longlegs is just unhinged enough to hold a special place in my heart.
